We utilize products from the trusted SafeBasements™ brand, manufactured in America. They are designed to be the most cost effective and efficient products to repair, correct, and stabilize foundations, bowing walls, and crawl spaces. These products have proven to stand the test of time in both strength and quality.
Our experts can provide homeowners with the following services, using some of the best products available to permanently correct and repair a number of problems plaguing homes in the eastern Nebraska area including the greater Omaha area as well as western Iowa including the Sioux City area.
If you've noticed you have long cracks in your foundation or your doors and windows are sticking when you open or close them, your home may have a foundation settlement problem. Our team can install push piers or helical piers depending on the situation. These piers will gently shift the weight of your home from the ground onto the piers which will permanently support them from any future settling or sinking. When it rains many older, and some newer, homes and businesses can suffer from an increase in what is called hydrostatic pressure, which is the water pressing up against your basement walls and floor. This pressure can cause water to flow into existing cracks or pores in the walls or floor. If you notice standing water in your basement after heavy rains, then you are in need of a basement waterproofing system. These systems will collect the water entering your basement and funnel it to a sump pump to then remove it from your home. Learn more about our basement waterproofing services.
Bowed Wall Repair
When you've got a basement, sometimes the soil around the home was not properly compacted after the home was built. This leads to a buildup of pressure over time that pushes on the outside of your basement walls. After years of this pressure, your basement walls can start to bow inward or even buckle. While this sounds like a big problem, our team can install a system of wall anchors that will slowly, and permanently, pull the basement walls back up and secure them so they will no longer bow inward. Crawl Space Repair
If your home is built on top of a crawl space, as opposed to a full basement or a slab, you can have a unique set of problems that affect it. These include fluctuating moisture levels, flooding issues, invasion by bugs and small critters, and potential damage from exposure to the elements. Two of the major problems are soft or sloping floors in certain areas of the home and increased humidity in the crawl space. These can be solved with a combination of crawl space jacks to support the floor joists and a crawl space encapsulation system which will seal the area off from the outside. Over time your driveway, patio, and sidewalks can shift, sink, and settle as water and soil expand and contract below the concrete. If you've noticed cracks or water pooling on your concrete, visit our sister company Concrete Leveling Solutions for more information.
